Questions
What's an Anthropic API key, and what does it cost?
It's what lets VODRaven use Claude, the AI that picks your moments. Create one at console.anthropic.com, add some credit, and paste it into VODRaven's Settings. Picking clips from a stream usually costs a few cents, billed by Anthropic directly. We never see your key or add a markup.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Downloading, transcribing and rendering all happen on your PC. Only the transcript text is sent to Claude to choose the moments, using your own API key.
Can it post for me?
Two ways. The included browser helper fills in YouTube Studio's upload form, and you click Publish. Or you can connect your own YouTube API project to upload automatically. Until Google approves that project, YouTube keeps those uploads private. For TikTok and Instagram Reels, post the finished files yourself or through a scheduler like Buffer.
Do I need a powerful PC?
Any recent Windows PC works. An NVIDIA graphics card makes transcription several times faster. Without one it runs on your processor and takes longer.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. VODRaven is Windows only for now.
