Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the VODRaven desktop app and this website. By buying or using VODRaven, you agree to them. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the maker of VODRaven, and "you" means the person who buys or uses it.

1. Your license

When you buy VODRaven, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on computers you own or control.

• Lifetime: one payment. You can keep using the versions you receive with no end date.
• Monthly: renews every month until you cancel. If you cancel, you can use the app until the end of the month you've paid for.

You may not resell, share, or publish your license key, and you may not copy, modify, decompile, or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

2. Payment

Orders are processed by Stripe, our reseller and merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes are added at checkout where required. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

3. Third-party services and API keys

VODRaven works with services you sign up for yourself, such as Anthropic, YouTube, Twitch and ElevenLabs. You're responsible for your accounts and keys with those services, for following their terms, and for any charges they bill you. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for changes to them, their availability, or what they charge.

4. Content you clip

VODRaven is a tool. You decide which videos to process and what to post. You must only clip and publish content you own or have permission to use, such as your own streams, or a creator's content under their clipping program or with their written permission. You're responsible for what you post and for following copyright law and each platform's rules. Don't use VODRaven to infringe anyone's rights.

5. AI output

Clip selections, titles, descriptions, captions and scripts are made by AI and automated tools, and can be wrong, inaccurate or inappropriate. Review each clip before you post it.

6. Updates and support

We may release updates that fix bugs, add features, or change how the app works. We offer support by email at support@vodraven.com and aim to reply within 2 business days.

7. No warranty

VODRaven is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, or that your clips will get views or earn money.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or channel standing, arising from your use of VODRaven. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending your license

If you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your license key publicly or using the app to infringe copyright, we may end your license. You can stop using VODRaven at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll email customers about significant changes. If you keep using VODRaven after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
